Chapter: Chapter 26Greyson POVI steal a glance at Luna, lost in thought as we make our way home. Her sudden mention of meeting her mate has left me with a whirlwind of questions, but I know better than to pry. Luna's mate is a sensitive topic, and I don't want to upset her. Not knowing how to ask more questions without upsetting her I decided on a different tactic."So, when are we going to give control back to Willow?" I ask, attempting to ease the tension in the car.She looks at me, offering a small smile. "I know that wasn't the first question you wanted to ask, and I thank you for not asking it just yet. I will explain everything," she says, her white eyes holding a sadness I can't ignore. "After you left, I could tell that you would probably come back with not so good news, and I do not believe Willow could take it. She is very strong, but I think this could break her especially if anything happens to Ezekiel. I just want us to give her some peace while we work on a plan. I pushed her back in he

Chapter: Chapter 25Ezekiel POV I'm relieved Mom let me step outside for a breather. She's all wrapped up in planning this new place, but honestly, that tour was a bit of a drag. I think I may see if she would put in an arcade, I think that would really liven up the place. Scanning the area, I notice a low-hanging tree swaying over the back patio. As I am looking at a tree I see a bird nest. In the nest I see a couple of babies moving around in it. Squinting to get a better look, I watch as one of the baby birds takes a sudden dive. Acting on instinct, I dash over, heart pounding as I watch it flap its wings wildly, chirping up a storm. It manages to glide a bit before crash-landing on the other side of the fence that is lining the back space. No time to waste—I swing the gate open and hustle over to where it landed. Crouching down, I check out the little guy. Poor thing's trembling like crazy. "Hang tight, buddy. I'll get you back home safe and sound," I assure it, reaching out to scoop it up. Just a

Chapter: Chapter 24Willow POV After all of last night’s festivities I found that the house was a bit of a mess. I smile to myself as I think about how supportive Greyson was. I quickly make my way around the house cleaning up before starting breakfast. Just as I am heading to the kitchen, I hear the boys moving around upstairs. I know Greyson is probably getting Ezekiel up and ready for the day. I quickly make some waffles, bacon, and cream of wheat for us. As I am putting the water on to boil, I hear them both enter the kitchen. "Everything smells amazing." Greyson states as he helps Ezekiel up on the stool near the island in the kitchen. "Yes, mommy you are the best cook in the world. I can eat your food forever." Ezekiel says as he gazes around at the food. I smile at their compliments as I begin making their plates. “I decided today we are keeping it light because I am thinking about making brunch." "What if instead we go out to brunch." Greyson says from behind me. I nearly drop the plate I a

Chapter: Chapter 23Carson POV I stare out at the moon from my office window with my thoughts consumed of my mate. It has been 3 years since I last saw her and there hasn't been a moment that I haven't thought of her. I have been sending my man out in search of her secretly but that have come back with nothing each time. I have even tried to connect with some rouges but due to our current relationship with the wolve they haven't wanted to help me. We have been at war with the wolves for just over 2 years now but luckily, we haven't suffered too many losses. I have had my man defending our territory trying not to provoke the wolve more than they have been. I don't want this war, but it seems the Alpha King and his people have been done with talking. They have attacked us multiple times, but we have held strong. I do not know how much longer we can go on like this. Many of my people are scared to leave the territory and any vampires that have been living elsewhere have returned to the kingdom. I sigh as I

Chapter: Chapter 223 years later Willow POV It has been a total of four years since Greyson, and I have escaped the Alpha King. The first year was a little rocky with me dealing with the birth of my son but having him and raising him has been the best decision I could have ever made. He is nothing like his father and he is growing into such an amazing young man. These last three years have been great with me finishing going to school and now I am taking classes to become a professional chef. I have also been spending time training with Greyson and Luna. I am amazed at how far I have come from being the scared timid girl who would run from any sign of confrontation. I now know how to protect myself and my family. “Mommy come on! Let’s go and play with Eros is outside.” Ezekiel shouts from the back door. I smile as I watch him press his face to the back glass door. Greyson was able to find us an amazingly comfortable home in a nicely wooded area. With the privacy we are able to be in our wolf form mor

Chapter: Chapter 21Willow POV I lay there as Luna’s words play through my head. After a while I start to hear Greyson moving around in the kitchen. I know I need to get up as well to prepare Ezekiel for the day. Sasha said that he had went to bed very late because he wanted to stay up and try to wait for us. I was planning to let him sleep in a bit but not too long because I did not want to disrupt his sleep schedule. I pull myself out the bed and walk towards the kitchen. I watch as Greyson starts to get things out for breakfast. “Are you going to stand there staring or you planning to help?” Greyson says as he smirks and looks over at me. I roll my eyes as I walk over to him and help him make breakfast. “So, I spoke to Luna today and she had a lot to say.” I tell him as I start cooking the eggs. I don't look at him, but I can feel that he is very curious to hear what she had to say. “Oh well what all did she say?” He says slowly stopping just as he opened the fridge. I tell him the story she told
