A few more days passed. Gunny and I finally began to lose hope and devise a plan to search for our missing group. I couldn’t think about what may have happened to them. Waking this time was easier than the last. I was glad that I didn’t feel as restricted waking. I could see the bright light creeping from the open doorway. After we were settled, I paced around the complex looking for any weak points. Lex had tried to convince me to get some rest, but I had no need for it. I woke disoriented. I wasn’t sure what was happening around me. I could tell I wasn’t in my bed. I kept my eyes closed trying to hear anything around me. My hearing was distorted, a faded ringing was the only sound in my head. I moved my body slightly careful not to draw attention to myself. I was unable to tell what I was laying on. The only comfort I had was the blanket loosely placed on me. I began to grow inpatient. I forced my eyes open ready for anything. Or so I thought. Looking around the dim-lit cabin I was infuriated. How did I get onto the plane without realizing I had been moved? Many questions began to flood my mind as my vision cleared. I was finally able to see Lex approaching where I laid across the two seats on the plane.

I sat naked, on the floor, in the center of my ritual blanket. The candlelight flickered softly against my skin. I was doing my best to relax and remain open calling to the gods. I wanted reassurance that we were making the right move. I had no need for more bloodshed. I let out my frustration as a sigh and a roll of my eyes. “I know I have been busy and closed off, but that was just because so much happened.” I said aloud. “I just need something, anything to tell me we are doing what is right!” I yelled. Nothing happened. After all the times the goddess had spoke though me, my moments in other worlds with them, nothing. I felt a sense of desertion, like they had abandoned me. We were not turning out like they wished, they finally had enough. A knock on the door startled me.  

The last week went by in the blink of an eye. The repairs were mostly completed around the packhouse We listed the farm for sale, the clearing team was almost finished. An offer came in 2 days after listing, we accepted glad to be rid of the horrific scene. I stood on the back porch with my coffee watching the teenagers training. There were 2 children, 11 and 10 years old, trying to mimic the advanced moves. I took a breath of fresh air, the breeze was cool but it was warmer than average. I heard footsteps approach and felt Sylvi’s presence before she spoke. “You seem to be in a good mood today.” She said holding her cup over the railing. “A week with no future attacks will do that.&rdquo

“I told you she wouldn’t run. You really should have more faith in your partner.” The beautiful creature spoke causing me to jump. I looked around wondering who she was speaking to. As we sat inside the tattoo shop there was small talk mixed with hidden secrets. This happened to be one of the businesses his family owned. I never would have guessed it. I wasn’t sure what type of businesses I assumed he was talking about. I expected more mob less average guy next door. Tadeas explained how he had known the artist his entire life. They looked about the same age. The shop was clean from what I saw. I was completely smitten with Tadeas the whole time. I hardly noticed anything about the artist himself or the work. I sat in the chair listening to the low buzzing noise coming from the tattoo gun. It hummed as the man traced along Tadeas’ wrist. My body jolted upward in my bed. I wasn’t sure where I was or what my name was even. I looked around the room breathing heavily before finding a glass of water to my right. I snatched the glass before drinking the contents. I took a few breaths trying to calm myself. I went over the basics first before panicking myself beyond return. I woke to the sound of a bell. The high-pitched ding sounded again. I reached over to the nightstand and grabbed my phone, blinking my eyes to clear my vision. Right away I was slightly confused, I didn’t typically receive naked pictures of women. To my dismay when I had clicked the screen on it opened the message right away. Picture after picture had been flooding the screen. All intimate pictures of various positions of Mia, the woman Tadeas was escorting at the art show. There were at least 6 before I placed the phone back, face down. My blood instantly began to boil. I looked around the room searching for Tadeas. He was no where to be found. Once I was able to gather my wits. I realized I could hear the shower running. I stood, pacing around the room

Theo POV As the doctor finished examining Jessie’s bruises, Sage paced eagerly in the corner. I could tell something happened to them both when she touched him. From her reaction, she didn’t have the answers to my questions. The doctor took Finn and Torvi into the next room leaving Sage and I alone, once again. I don’t think she was aware of my presence. She kept her eyes on Jessie’s badly beaten body. I could tell she was feeling helpless. “If what you say is true. Is it not better for you to be touching somehow? I have heard of Nikola helping Cyra in the same way.” I tried to be helpful, unsure why.

Theo POV “I am here to protect him. Clearly you shouldn’t hire me.” I spat at the woman still arguing my presence on the pack lands. “You can call your Alpha; we have permission to be here. Though our visit was scheduled for tomorrow.” I informed. “Oh, you are Prince Theo. Is this…” The doctor paused briefly. “I was told Alpha Nikola’s son was only 17, not yet shifted.” She looked at the boy still in wolf form. “Until now.” I spoke relieved I was finally getting somewhere. “He shifted during the attack. He was crushed. Have you ever seen a wolf remain in form unconscious like this?” “

Theo POV A couple hundred meters away we came to a small clearing. I did my best to listen for anyone close. My smell was nothing compared to a wolf, using it seemed ridiculous. Due to Jessie’s suspicions I decided to at least try. Coming up nothing, I nodded for him to begin. He threw a few punches, clearly releasing anger and not using his brain. I dodged a few times before turning and landing my own attack. I knocked him down causing him to huff. I chuckled on the inside. He was a wolf, having no clue. It would be a privilege to see him shift. “You need to use your brain. Stop letting your anger control your movements. It’s sloppy and beneath you.” I said before lunging towards him.

Cyra POV As the plane landed in Norway, my eyes were glued to the scenery. The tall mountains stretched as far as my eyes could see. The winter frost melting away as flowers began to bloom. It was the most miraculous site I could imagine. Nikola’s hand was wrapped around my own while I nearly vibrated in the seat waiting to exit the plane. I wanted to run everywhere. See everything. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to discuss our future. I had finally decided I wanted nothing more than to marry Nikola and become Cyra Seeds.
