Raven’s Peak (She’s Mine To Claim)
In the mysterious town of Raven's Peak, Asher Nightshade, a brooding and secretive werewolf, lives a solitary life. His world is turned upside down when Ember Wellesley, a free-spirited artist, arrives in town. Despite the danger, they're drawn to each other, and their forbidden love blossoms under the light of the full moon.
As their relationship deepens, Asher's werewolf pack and a rogue pack led by the vengeful Julian St. Clair threaten to tear them apart. Ember must confront her own dark past and the secrets surrounding Asher's world. With the full moon rising, Asher must choose between his love for Ember and his loyalty to his pack.
This is a still a work in progress so the plot can change as I continue writing.

Chapter: CHAPTER 7. ASHER’S POVThe moon hung low in the sky, casting an eerie silver glow over the Moon Room. The air was alive with the scent of damp earth and decayed dead bodies. It was like every usual night in the small town of Raven’s Peak. But for me, this is a night of reckoning. I’ve been waiting for this moment for weeks now.I stood right in the center of the Moon Room, in the exact same spot I stood during my trial day three years ago. It still feels like yesterday, the shock on their faces when I revealed my alpha mark, the screams of the victims as I choked the life out of them.Ethan and my Father! I still get nightmares of that night, little disturbing fragments of how they died fighting by my side. I took a deep breath, the cool night air filling my lungs. Tonight, I will face my monsters. Tonight I would put an end to the ever-occurring nightmares that grips me every night for the last three years.“You stand just like him” I heard a hoarse and eerie voice behind me, and a figure comin

Chapter: CHAPTER 6. AMBER’S POV.Flickering my eyes rapidly as the bright light of early morning shines directly at my face. I can’t believe I let myself sleep all night in this terribly dusty and unkept basement. That’s the power of shock mixed with awe I reckon. What in the actual fuck happened last night? The Newspapers absolutely did not make mention of any wolves related stories in Raven’s Peak, did I miss that bit? Was I overwhelmed by the beauty of this town to not pick the tiny details mentioning the existence of wolves in it? I can’t even imagine all the horror stories told to us as kids concerning the existence of werewolves were true. I allowed my mind to wander around asking myself these questions while I lay still on the floor. There’s only one prominent question lingering in the back of my mind and refuses to leave “Did i make a mistake coming down here?”*Ringing* My phone jolts me outta the trance I’m in. I start digging through the boxes laying beside me because I can’t really remembe

Chapter: Chapter 5.AMBER’S POV“What a day!” I say to myself as I make my way out of the shower in my bathrobe to the wardrobe, I browse through my clothes in search of my nightie, I want to be as comfortable as I can be. I need all the rest I can get. I finally found the perfect silky nightwear to drape on for the night. “Ugh!” A slight groan escaped my mouth as I finally laid in my bed for the first time in hours.Laying in bed reminiscing about how hectic of a day today was, the beautiful scenery of this town, no matter how hard I try, I can’t just seem to get the thoughts of how many beautiful pictures I’ve taken since I arrived in Raven’s Peak. The townspeople are very strange but yet welcoming and warm.. there’s beauty in the strangeness I guess. What’s with the talk of how dangerous it is to walk at night and staying indoors all night on this particular night. Something is definitely off and I can’t seem to place my fingers on it. “Asher Nightshade! Good strong name” my attention got shifted to

Chapter: Chapter 4.ASHER’s POV. Black long hair cascading down her back, eyes that looked like the ocean had come to me, slim yet I could see her curves from the pair of shorts and shirt she wore. Her lips are full and sultry, she was a beauty to behold. This is the perfect description of the woman seated beside me as I drive to her house. When Enid called and told me earlier about a human in Raven’s peak, I told her to send me her address. Yes, we have a lot of humans in Raven’s peak but all of them were aware of the rules and didn’t act out of the ordinary but I am sure this journalist wouldn’t do that. I had a background check done on her and I found out who she was and why she had come here. It’s not my duty to keep her safe but something inside of me wanted to and that’s why I decided to come for her myself to keep her safe.. I have come across daring young ladies and none of them ended well. You could say raven’s peak is particular about who we let in. Three years ago, I set some form of new ru

Chapter: Chapter 3. EMBER’s POV. After leaving Enid and the other people she introduced me to, i decide to grab a coffee before heading home. It is already a bit late and the roads have become a little empty like everyone is rushing to go somewhere. Far in the sky, i see the full moon journeying to the center of the sky. I have always been fascinated by the full moon because on such days, it feels like there is a kind of power that surges through my veins on days like this but I laugh it off. It’s not like I believe in zodiac signs or some sort of universal entity so it’s just me wanting to think wild. The night is a bit chilly so I try to hurry to the house but I stop short when I start hearing howling sounds from afar. Is there something going on that I am not aware of? I look around and there are only a few people left on the streets and they don't look like they are bothered by the sound. Either they don’t care or they can’t hear it. Mustering courage, I walk over to an old lady who is closing her

Chapter: Chapter 2. EMBER’s POv.“Ughhh!!” A slight groan leaves my mouth as I alight from the cab. A three hour journey from New York to this place is really tiring, I can’t even lie. A few days ago, I stumbled upon an interview done by one of America’s leading journalists and she mentioned this town. All my life, I never knew this existed because standing here, I can’t help but be in awe of what I am seeing. It is not that secluded from New York but it looks like a whole different world all together. Beautiful infrastructures and buildings. I also heard that the people of the town are friendly and welcoming. When I heard about them from the interview, my artistic mind kicked in and I rushed to get permission from the higher ups to come and check it out. Believe me, I am already loving it.“This is the last of your luggage ma’am” the cab driver says and I nod, flashing him a smile.“Thank you so much sir” I tell him.“You have my card, let me know anytime you need to take a tour around the city and I w
