6: IDEAL WOMAN

"Thank you so much for showing me around, you're so kind." Ivanna said to Ezekiel.

Ezekiel had enjoyed her company, Ivanna was so sweet and kind and every man would fall for that kind of woman. Ivanna went ahead to meet her parents. Ezekiel is on his way to meet Dwayne.

"I'm so sorry," Ezekiel said.

"Nah, it's okay. You sure you just showed her around, not to flirt with her?" Dwayne asked.

With his tone, Ezekiel thought he was jealous.

"Wait, you ask too many questions. Are you jealous?" Ezekiel asked.

Ash almost threw up his coffee for him. He just glared at him. Ezekiel was smiling with a matching teasing of his tone.

"Nah, I'm not and will never be." Ash said firmly.

Ezekiel smirks and scoffs.

"Come on man, you're going to eat your words some day." he said.

Ash just ignored him. What do you think? Is he going to eat his words later? Ezekiel was very sure he was going to fall for her.

"Dwayne, Ivanna is so sweet and kind. Who would fall for that kind of girl? Plus, she's hot and gorgeous." he added.

"I don't care." Ash said.

"Okay, if you say so. I'm telling you." Ezekiel said.

Ivanna was at her parents' office. Their office was so cool. It's in the same room but half with wood in between them, and you can't see or hear conversations between each other.

"Cool." she said.

"Ivanna, So how are you coping? Did Mr. Owen show you around?" Mr. Hendrix asked his daughter.

"Yes Dad, he's kind." she said.

"That's good." her dad said, and smiled.

Ivanna decided to go to her mother's office. They were just the same with her dad's set up of office.

"Darling, you're here." Mrs. Hendrix said.

Ivanna just wanted to tour herself around her parents' office. Her parents were so damn busy that she just needed to tour or entertain herself.

"Honey, your wedding will be next week." her mom said.

She was instantly shocked but just ignored it. She let her parents control her life after all. She knows, she'll thank them later.

"Okay, so what do I need to do?" she asked.

Her mom stared at her, she was waiting for her to say something, but she just stared at her.

"Weird," she whispered.

"I heard that." her mom said.

Ivanna just chuckled and said 'sorry'. Ivanna started to be bored, so she decided to go out for a walk. She missed her best friend. She decided to go to the park, using her parents' car.

"Gosh, I miss my best friend," she uttered.

She was surprised to see the twins again. She quickly went near them. The twins were very shocked.

"Hey, you're both here again." she said to them.

The twins were so happy to play with her again, their nannies were just watching them.

"Sister, where is the man you were with yesterday?" the little boy asked.

Ivanna wanted to pinch their cheeks, because they were so cute.

"Awww, you miss him? He's busy." she replied.

"Is he your boyfriend?" the little girl asked.

Ivanna laughed.

"I'm sorry, they asked so many questions." one nanny said, laughing.

"It's okay, they're cute," she said.

"Nope, he's not, but he's going to be my husband soon." she said.

The twins were so cute when they were in shock.

"Wow, like our mommy and daddy?" the little girl said.

Ivanna nodded, caressing the little girl's hair.

"And can you have a baby also like us? I want to play with your baby." the little boy said.

Ivanna and the nannies were laughing so hard. The twins were so cute and smart, they really knew what they were talking about.

"You're really smart, aren't you." she said to them.

"Of course, our mommy and daddy told us we were so special and that we make many people smile and laugh, in short, happy." Ivanna was awed.

Ivanna made the twins so happy. It's already getting dark. The nannies and the kids said goodbye to her. She was left alone. And she decided to go see the sunset again. She drove, heading there.

"Gosh, Sunset's really pretty." she said.

She puts her chin in her hands while staring at it. She remembered yesterday when Ash was with her.

"Where is that cold Ash." she murmured.

It took her a long time to watch the sunset, until going down. She decided to head towards their company because maybe her parents were already waiting for her.

"Ivanna, what took you so long?" her dad said.

It turned out that her parents were waiting for her outside the company.

"I'm sorry, I just went to watch the sunset." she said.

Her parents groaned.

"Okay, let's go home." her parents said.

Her father was the one who drove. She was seated at the back while her mom was in the front seat. She saw how her parents loved each other until now. Her dad used his right hand to hold her mom's left hand. So, he was driving with his left hand only. Seeing them, she wants her married life to be like her parents, but she is disappointed because it's impossible for her to love Ash, and it's impossible to be loved by Ash. She just sighed and stared at the window.

"Ivanna, what's your plan tomorrow?" her dad.

"I don't know?" she said.

Her mom sighed.

"Ivanna, why don't you go and visit Ash?" her dad said.

Ivanna just shrugged her shoulders, it was useless for her to visit him. Ash is just ignoring her, it's such a waste of time for her. So she decided to tour and entertain herself at the mall tomorrow. She told her parents about her plans tomorrow.

"Mom, dad. I want to enjoy my last days being single before getting married and being tied to a stranger." she said.

"Honey, Your fiancée isn't a stranger. He's a family friend." Her dad said.

"Yeah, whatever," she said and groaned.

Her parents understand her attitude.
