Leviathan sat in his chair, his mind still foggy from the news he just received, his right hand man General Phillip was no more. Dead at the hands of a mare woman, princess Porsha of Vikland. Leviathan couldn't quite understand how this same woman he despised with everything in him, could cause him so much trouble. Porsha was just a woman like any other, all she was good for was sex, birthing children and taking care of the home. Granted she was blessed with immense charm but that wasn't enough reason for her to constantly threaten his peace. Her kind were the reason why his kind was extinct, it was because of her pathetic werewolf clan that he was now known as the last dragon. No more was he going to let things slight, it was about time he got his pound of flesh. "Clark, prepare my horse. I would like to pay Vikland a visit" He commanded his voice thunderous as he clutched his fist, his crimson red eyes burning with rage. ___________________ Meanwhile in the kingdom of Vikland, Princess Porsha was getting the scolding of a lifetime in the royal court. Vikland was in a state of panic, it had come to the king's knowledge that Porsha had killed the minister of the Ember nest empire and Dragon King Leviathan was on a quest for revenge. If this issue wasn't resolved quickly both kingdoms would have go to war, a war which would result in the extinction of the werewolf race but Porsha was too much of narcissist to look behold her own emotions. "Father, I see no reason to apologise to Leviathan. Given that his general instigated the attack on our people. His general dared to massacre a handful of our people and even defiled my servant. It seems only fitting that he should be offering me an apology for his incompetence as a ruler" Porsha revolted, her tone bitter as she rose to her feet. "Porsha, I understand that you are hurt but matters like this can't be decided on emotions only. You do not understand the complexities of what you just did, you disrespected king Leviathan and to a king nothing is more important than his pride. You would have to apologize to him, it's necessary to maintain the safety and stability of our people." King William explained, his tone calm and considerate, but unfortunately Porsha shared no such sentiments. "Safety and stability? You call bowing to our enemy an act of 'safety and stability'? That is nothing but cowardice, Father, and I, first Lycan princess of Vikland refuse to be a part of it." She yelled, her tone condescending. "Princess, you would do well to remember your place and show some respect to your father and the council." Beta Thomas rebuked, his eyes turning red with rage. "My place? My place is as a advocate for the rights and freedoms of our people. And I will not be silenced or intimidated by the likes of a coward like you" Porsha spoke, her tone becoming more and more agitated, her voice rising as she clenched her fist. Porsha's words might have been directed to beta Thomas but it was her father, king Williams who felt insulted, "Enough!" He commanded slamming his fist on the table, his face red with anger, "You will not disrespect me or the council in this manner. You would tender a formal apology to Beta Thomas and Dragon King Leviathan as soon as possible" The rage on Alpha Williams face was unmatched, his wolf seemed to be roaming just below the surface. Porsha, arrogant as could be wasn't dumb enough to provoke him further, so instead she bowed her head and tendered a half-hearted apology, "Sorry for insulting you beta Thomas. Next time, I will keep my opinions to myself, even if they are true" She then turned to her father, looked him straight in the eyes and spoke her mind, unable to swallow her budging pride. "As for Leviathan, I will not apologize, Father. I will fight for what is right, no matter the cost." And with that Porsha storms out of the throne room, leaving the king and the council in an uncomfortable silence. ————————————— Porsha stepped out of the court room fuming mad, her eyes blazing red. She took off her gigantic hat and threw it to the ground. Never before had she felt so humiliated. "Princess Porsha, what's wrong?" Anne, Porsha's loyal servant, who had been patiently waiting for her asked as she picked up Porsha's hat. "Can you imagine my father commanded I apologized to that monster Leviathan, after how his minister brutally violated you" She informed, her blood boiling. Anne on the other hand wasn't surprised in the slightest, instead she just smiled and said, "That was to be expected princess, the Alpha is only doing what is best for the people" "What is best for the people. What about what is best for you, aren't you part of his people?" Porsha questioned acrimoniously. "Exactly, a part. I do not matter that much princess. I'm simply an Omega, and a woman nonetheless..." Anne explained but Porsha interrupted fuming mad as she gritted her teeth. "So what, if you are a woman? Father wouldn't have let this slide if you were male servant. So why should I let this happen to you. Anne do you know what is wrong with this world the fact that women like you are the same ones encouraging this discrimination between gender. A woman is every much as important as a man" She voiced bitterly, her eyes blazing red as she moved closer to Anne who had tears in her eyes, hurt by her inability to speak up for herself, "You might have given up on yourself but I wouldn't. I will defend your honor even if it's the last thing I do" And with that, Porsha pried her hat off Anne's hands, placed it on her head and walked out without another word. Anne on the other hand just followed in silence, knowing Porsha pretty well she knew she was going for a stroll round the village and that stroll was going to end in nothing but more problems, but nothing could prepare either of them for what was about to happen next. Porsha angrily made her way through the pack's square, her anger palatable as she strided with full speed in a bit to avoid being caught up to by Anne, only to take a turn, lost her footing, stumbled backwards, falling to the ground. In a split second, she found herself falling into the arms of a tall, handsome man, a slave with the most beautiful crimson red eyes, he had long silver hair, a high nose bridge, full pink lips and a sharp jawline. "You really should watch where you are going princess, next time there might be no one to catch you" He said with a smirk exposing his beautiful dimples. Porsha's eyes locked onto the strangers', his eyes were out of this world, there were like nothing she had ever seen before. They were mesmerizing. In that moment something snapped inside of Porsha, it was her Lycan wolf, Silvia. "It's him" She said via mind link, and Porsha froze, "our mate" PORSHA'S POVI woke up to a particularly lovely day, the sky was the most beautiful shade of blue and the sound of birds chirping echoed through out the palace. “Good morning my beautiful queen” Anne's voice boomed through the room,A tray of hair ornaments and makeup in hand.I laid back in bed, a sigh escaping my lips.“What is beautiful about the morning Anne?” I doubted, feeling down cast.I can't believe it has only been four days since I arrived at this hell hole. It feels like forty. I honestly don't think I could endure this any longer. “Oh! Porsha don't be like that” Anne said, taking a seat next to me on the bed, “Think about all the things you have to be thankful for”I immediately turn towards her, a curious frown on my face. “And what am I supposed to be grateful for?" I asked with a raised brow. “Is that even a question?" Anne questioned with a nonplussed expression on her face. “Didn't you wake up today? You're still beautiful, you have Empress Helen on
THIRD PERSON POV Porsha walked out of the prayer room, her breathing off as she strided towards Anne with red eyes. “Anne let's go" She commanded, her chest still hurting from Leviathan's bitter words, who did he think he was to humiliate, or threaten her like that. She wasn't scared of him, at least not as much as she did before. “Porsha what is wrong? Did his highness do anything to you?” Anne doubted with a raised brow.“What else hasn't he done, apart from threatening to kill me,” Porsha informed nonchalantly, her tone filled with disappointment.Anne's eyes widen, her tone alarmed, “You don't mean it" “My goodness! Why would his majesty say something as terrible as that to you?"“Cause that is how he truly feels. I bet he only married me to establish his dominance" Porsha said.“What did you say to him Porsha?" Anne questioned, a frown creeping to his face.“Nothing" Porsha answered, her blood boiling with rage.“That's impossible. I know his highness might be
LEVIATHAN'S POV I flickered my eyes open to the rays of the bright morning sun, the thought of my confrontation with Porsha rushing into my mind.I tried rising up from bed but I am stopped by a tight hold around my waist, it was Serafin, the concubine I spent the night with. Originally, I thought of going back to Cassandra's room but decided against it, when I remembered yesterday was a Saturday, her weekly handy down day and for Cassandra nothing was more important than running the harem. If I did go there, I would have been cast aside. “Permission to enter, your majesty” A masculine voice boomed from outside the room, pulling me from my thoughts. The voice was so loud that it woke Serafin from her slumber.“Greetings your highness" She said, trying to brush her tangled hair with her fingers, but I am not in the least impressed, to think she used to be my favorite once upon a time.“Good morning Serafin" I responded calmly.“Who is that?" She questioned, her voice no h
THIRD PERSON POV Matilda's laughter boomed across the room, her eyes watering from excitement as she told her personal servant, the scene she just witnessed. “Velma you should have seen them. Leviathan was furious he even threw Porsha to the floor, and threatened that he was going to kill all of her relatives” Matilda informed still cracking up, as she wiped off a tear drop from the side of her eyelid. “Goodness! that must have been terrible for poor queen Porsha” Velma said, her tone laced with a sprinkle of pity.“Come on Velma don't tell me you suddenly pity that woman. I advise you not to, she got exactly what she deserved” Matilda informed, her eyes gleaming with mischief, “Now, that Porsha knows exactly where she stands in this palace, and that is beneath my feet”“You can say that again queen mother. Congratulations on your victory” Velma said, her voice bubbling with excitement, “This calls for a celebration don't you think. Should I pour out some wine?”“Yes Velma
PORSHA POV I sat infront of my mirror, a dull ache still residing in my heart after the incident tonight.“Anne do you think what I did in the ceremony hall was bad?” I doubted turning to face Anne. My mind recently have been filled with doubts it like I can't do anything right, anymore.“Of course not Porsha. Infact you should be proud after all you saved his majesty from certain death” Anne explained, her eyes sparkling with sincerity but I had my doubts.“But that's not what everyone else thinks Anne. Did you see the disgust on their faces when they walked out” I informed, as their disappointed faces replayed in my head. They all hate me and I was only trying to do the right thing.“There were just surprised Porsha. In any case they only walked out because his highness did that first” Anne assured with a smile as she took my hands in hers.“I tell you what, his highness will be here any second now to thank you” She added and as though hearing her words. The room announcer
LEVIATHAN'S POV Cassandra's laugh boomed across her room like a raging storm. “Levi that woman dealt with you without even opening her mouth. I could see the fear in your eyes, it was as though you were going to faint” She said, her tone laced with mockery that it sent shivers down my spine. “Cassandra please do not add salt to my wounds” I beseeched her, as I gaggled down a glass of red wine. My blood boiling with rage as I recall everything. How defenceless I felt when Porsha pointed that arrow at my head, and how she deployed it in the guise of killing a snake. Yes indeed she killed it but she equally injured my ego in the process and there will be consequences. “But I am not doing anything your highness. Queen Porsha had inflicted not just salt but pepper to your wounds with her little act of trying to save your life. I mean she deliberately broke your law but ensured that you couldn't punish her since she did it for your sake” Cassandra commented, an amused smile e
