“What the f**k!” I was shocked when I bump into the car in front of me. He just suddenly stop and I couldn’t break quickly!

I slowly got out of the car and groaned a little because my head hit the streeing wheel.

I saw the driver also come out and stare at his car until he slowly turned to me.

“You just bump my f**king car!” I almost dropped my jaw because of what he said.

“What do you want me to say? I’m sorry? It’s your fault you stopped suddenly!” I couldn't help raising my voice at him.

He’s getting into my nerves!

“If you don’t have any money to pay for the damage to my car, just don’t talk about it.” He said coldly and turned his back on me, but I pulled the hem of his suit so he faced me.

“What’s your f**king problem, huh? Old woman?!”

What did he say? Old? Old woman?!

“I think you’re a few years older than me, so don’t ever call me old!!” I said aloud. It closes tightly and seems to be irritated by my voice.

“Who permits you to touch--“ he didn’t finish what he was going to say because we heard the horns of the cars around us.

“HEY!! DON’T BLOCK THE ROAD!”

The man removed my hand and turned his back on me completely. Before his car left, I looked at the license plate number of his car.

I took a deep breath before getting in my car and leaving.

I have reached home.

“Hubby?”

“Elizabeth?” I glance around.

“Mommy!” I saw my daughter running towards me. I quickly hugged her.

“I miss you, sweetie! Where’s your daddy?” I asked, confused, and looked around.

Is he playing video games again? Didn’t I tell him to take care of the land buyer!

“He’s inside your room,” she replies. In our room? God, this man is playing again for sure. This is giving me a headache.

“By the way, I’ve brought something for you, sweetie!” I gave her the paper bag, and it has a barbie doll inside it.

“Oh, thanks, Mommy!” she hugged and kissed me on the cheek.

“Is your daddy playing or sleeping?”

“I don’t know, but...” She bites her nails.

“But what?” I asked. What does she want to tell me? Looks like she’s worried and scared.

“He’s with a woman right now. They’re both inside the room and yeah, I don’t know who that woman is.”

“Wait... what woman?”

she shrugged and turned her gaze back to the doll I bought for her.

“They’re still in the room, Mommy. I can hear a strange noise when I was about to knock on the door. I was about to ask Daddy if he could buy me some ice cream,” she says quietly.

I looked at her. My daughter’s face is so innocent. Based on her face, she didn’t know who it was and what they’re doing.

“Elizabeth, go to your room, and don’t go out until I tell you so, okay?” Elizabeth nods at me.

My heart is pounding.

I don’t know why he’s with a woman in our room right now. Elizabeth said that she doesn’t know that woman? Daren doesn’t have any sisters, and most of his cousins are all guys.

I’m nervous about what I am going to see now when I open the door. What if they’re doing something...

No way, impossible! Hubby can’t do that thing to me. During the time we’ve been together, he never cheats on me. He loves me so much. And lastly, if he’s going to cheat, he is not that dumb to bring a woman into our own home, right?

Elizabeth walked upstairs and when she entered her room. I immediately went to where our room was.

“Ma’am Elyse, Sir Daren says that no one should enter.” Her voice is low and quiet.

She’s Amanda, 49 years old and our one and only maid, she’s been working with us for 5 years already.

“Shhh... just go to Elizabeth’s room. Make sure that she doesn’t come out.” I whisper and waited for her to leave completely.

My hands are shaking. I touch the doorknob. I could hear a strange noise as I listen carefully. I swallow nervously.

I was surprised when I opened it and saw them both naked. A blonde young woman was on top of him...

“WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU DOING!!” I yelled at both of them.

I saw the shock on their faces and immediately covered their naked bodies using a blanket. My blanket!

“Are you not ashamed Daren!! You did something hilarious like this inside my house!!” I quickly approached them and pulled the woman’s hair.

I raised my eyebrow and laughed for a second. I recognize this f**king face!

“Wow! Aren’t you the buyer of our land in Cebu?! You don’t just want the land, but you also want my husband!! Is that why you insist to buy our land?!!” I slapped her on both cheeks.

“The hell! Stop it, Elyse!!”

I can’t help my smirk when he pushed me on the shoulder, because of that I fell and sat on the floor.

I quickly stood up and clenched my fist as I stared at the two of them intently.

“You don’t want me to hurt her?? But hurting your wife instead is okay with you?!! Your face is so thick, Daren!”

I also slapped him hard on both cheeks. I feel my eyes are starting to hurt.

I could see the concern in his eyes as he looked at that woman. He places his hand on the woman’s shoulders. “Are you okay?” he asked.

“Both of you are disgusting,” I said as I look at them.

“Our daughter is just outside and you’re doing something weird here in our room?!! Don’t you have a brain!!”

“So, it’s okay if we do it somewhere else.” 

This damn woman! She dares to say that!! I guess she forgot that she’s here inside my house and I can do anything for her if I want to!

“Were you born to be flirty? Were you born to steal someone else’s husband? Did your mother raise you to be like that!! You’re disgusting, I feel like vomiting by just looking at your face!!” Irritation filled her face.

“Well, first of all, I’m not stealing anything, and don’t insult my mother because it’s my own decision to be like this-- “

“Dumbass, did you even graduated from college? You know what, I feel sorry for you!”

“You should feel sorry for yourself, not me,” she said, then smirk at me.

One more word, I will kill you b*tch!

“Yana, you should leave, for now. I’ll talk to her for a minute then wait for me to contact you.” He even combs that woman’s hair.

“Fine!” she picked up her clothes, started getting dressed. She smirked at me before leaving.

The tears started to drip that I had been holding back.

“Elyse-- “he gazes at me, his expression guarded and unreadable.

My teary eyes stared at Daren. “H-How could you do this to me, Daren? Am I not enough for you? I’m doing my best to be a good wife and a mother, but why the f**k did you do this to me!!!”

“I... I don’t love you anymore, Elyse. I realized that I’m not staying by your side because I love you, it’s because I need to, for Elizabeth. Only for my daughter. I am trying to love you again, to be happy, but I can’t.”

“But now, I can’t stay with you anymore. I can only be a father of our daughter, but not your f**king husband. I need freedom, Elyse! But because of you--“

“Freedom? What do you mean by freedom? I’m letting you do what you want, Darren! Was not that enough for you? And lastly, are you saying you only married me to our daughter and not because you love me?!”

“Unfortunately, yes!” 

“What the f**k! Daren! We’ve been in a relationship for many years, we’re married for many years and you’re gonna say that all those years you don’t love me anymore?!!”

“Haven’t you ever been happy with me? All the smiles and your sweetness to me, you’re just pretending? Everything that you showed me is fake, Daren?”

“I was happy, but as time goes on, my feelings for you disappear. You’re always busy with work, we don’t have time together anymore because you’re always tired! I don’t even remember when is the last time we had s*x! I feel like you love your job more than me...”
