Chapter 26

Upon entering the house, the first person he notices immediately was his Mom who was talking to his Uncles, James and Vincent with his wife Christine, together with the Williams husband and wife duo. They really looked like a group of friends who were catching up with each other's lives.

He went to his mother and kissed her on her cheek, before greeting the other elders.

“How’s your day at the office, dear?” Dianne asked her son.

“As usual, Mom.” He replied in his usual tone.

“You must be proud of your nephew, Vince.” Stuart commented. “At such a young age he is now very successful. He’s even one of the youngest sought after bachelors in the country"

“Of course!” Vincent exclaims proudly. “But the one who’s really proud here is my sister-in-law. She raised her sons really well.”

“I’ve always been proud of my son. You know that brother-in-law.” Dianne replied after exchanging knowing looks with her brother-in-law.

“Hmm.. It seems you oldies are having a good time here. Hi Dad, Mom.
