Harriet’s Point of View

Lucas tossed the young werewolf boy aside like a toy. The pup flew through the air like a bouncing ball, crashing into the wall before sliding down to the ground, completely motionless.

Thud!

The pup emitted a pitiful whimper before losing consciousness.

But he wasn't dead.

Maybe it was because Lucas didn't unleash his full strength against the young pup, even though he had every reason to punish him for injuring him. It seemed like he valued each and every werewolf in his Pack, which was why he spared the boy's life.

"Damn it," Lucas muttered, examining his bleeding arm.

"Lucas," I called out with a trembling voice. "You're bleeding. We need to do something about it! Let's call a doctor or..."
