Chapter Twenty-Two

Tyler’s POV

My eyes darted to her friends who always walked with her and they looked down immediately. “Where is Emily? I want to address something. Why isn't she here?” I asked them and they looked at each other.

“I don't know Alpha.” one of them answered then exchanged looks with the other.

“I will go search for her Alpha.” she was about to stand up but I hit my hand on the table.

“If you leave now then you will be punished with her,” I told her and she sat down back quietly.

“I won't say anything until everyone is complete at this table,” I said to all of them then looked around and saw some empty chairs.

I have been so reluctant about the pack that people failed to make it to breakfast and just skipped it as they liked. They woke up late which wasn't a normal thing in my pack at all.

“But from the look of things, it won't be today. Many of you are missing.” I said then cleared my throat.

“I will be leaving then.” I stood up but the head chef came to me with a sad look on her face.
