Dasha's POV

Sunday came, I had one day off a week.

From behind the window of this small and simple house. I silently watched the people of the village, who were busy drying clothes in their yard. Children were running around and some farm animals were wandering around too.

Well, it was a real village scene.

I sighed as I looked at the nails on my fingers. A bit unkempt these days.

"Go for a little picnic on the hill near the village, or I will visit the city for a treatment as usual. Now that I've got my paycheck from work, what do you think, Helen?" I asked the wolf in me.

"There's nothing wrong with pampering yourself, is there?" said Helen.

"If I'm going to treat myself, I'm going to have to be willing to scrimp and save for the next two weeks."

"Take it easy, Dasha. Nicholas won't let you starve," Helen said.

I smiled and Helen was right. I also wanted to give Georgia's grandmother, who had been so kind to me, a present. I would buy some cakes or other treats as a souvenir when
