“Why did this have to happen to Madine? She didn't get love from us because we have to take care of Nadine. Why did this have to happen to her.” Mrs Oreo whose maiden name was Hannah cried. She held Madine who was already in a coma and blamed herself for it.

“Mom, it is not your fault. Madine should have listened to us when we told her to drop the car for me. Now she is in this pathetic state. I feel so bad for her.” Nadine laid her head on Hannah’s shoulder, sobbing and using her other hand to rub Madine’s arm.

“Nadine is right. Only if Madine had listened to us and dropped the car. The Doctor said he doesn't know when she would wake up but she could anytime.” Mr. Oreo whose name was Darren uttered. He stared at Madine with a broken heart. He hated seeing her in that position in the same way he hated that Madine's hospital bills were piling up.

“We can't blame her when she is in a coma. We can only show her love and hope that she wakes up soon.” Hannah ran her hand through Madine’s curly waves. Her daughter was so strong. She didn't receive half of the care Nadine received yet she grew up so well. Although she was stubborn, she still grew up well. Hannah felt bad for her each time but she and her husband's income was only ever enough for Nadine's expensive needs.

Exactly two weeks later, Trenton Hudson had found the house of the woman he promised to marry. However, Although he was a billionaire, the world's youngest billionaire, and the most handsome man in the world, he was still nervous.

This was because he had held onto that silly promise for years. A part of him was scared that she would have gotten married to another man. Funny enough, he didn't know her name. He didn't ask for her name that day as that was the first and last time they met.

“Is that a bead of sweat, Trenton Hudson?” Ronald looked at his nephew with widened eyes. Since Trenton was a little boy he had trained himself never to be stressed. Especially when he started to excel in many things, he became arrogant and extremely confident. It was crazy to see him sweat even in the fully air-conditioned car.

“Sweat? Where?” He quickly rubbed his forehead and to his surprise as well, it was moist.

“Wow, you are nervous for a woman!” Ronald burst into laughter making Trenton feel more embarrassed.

“Uncle, stop!” He tapped his lap, feeling a lot more embarrassed.

“Do you know her name because it says here that she is a...”

“I don't know her name!” Trenton cut and then licked his lower lips.

“What?” Ronald raised his eyes.

“You are going to claim a woman you don't know her name?” Ronald asked, staring at his nephew as if he had grown two heads.

“Uncle, can you not make it look like it is impossible? I am Trenton Hudson, of course, she would wait for me no matter what.” He assured himself while Ronald sniffed his nose.

“Or she is now married with three kids.” Ronald chipped in behind him as they got out of the car.

They knocked and the door was opened by Darren. When he saw Trenton Hudson his eyes went wide. Why would Trenton Hudson be in his home?

“Trenton... Hudson?” He asked, his voice shaking.

“Where is she?” Trenton stepped in and started to look around but stopped when he saw a frame of Nadine. Immediately, he assumed that it was his lover. It had been ten years of course she would look different from that night.

At the same time, Nadine walked down the stairs.

Her eyes almost budged out of their sockets when she saw Trenton Hudson. Meanwhile, Trenton was looking at her calculatingly. He took some steps closer to her, his eyes fixed on her.

“Is it you?” He asked, his tone serious.

Nadine said nothing, her eyes were only fixated on him.

“What is going on?” Hannah quickly jumped between the duo, blocking them from gazing at one another.

“I am sorry mother-in-law, I should have come sooner.” Trent bowed slightly with a perfect smile.

“Mother-in-law?” Hannah repeated with a confused expression.

“Yes.” Trent smiled again.

“Hey, I don't care if you are Trenton Hudson or whatever, you cannot walk into my house uninvited and also say words that we don't understand!” Darren walked into the scene with a feigned frown. Inwardly, he was bubbling with excitement. A billionaire was in his house.

Silence broke out in the air, each lost for words until Ronald jumped into the scene.

“We are sorry, we should have prepared for a better introduction.” He stood beside Trenton and then pinched him which made him flinch before frowning.

“Yes, you should leave now,” Darren added and then gestured to the door.

“Father-in-law, don't worry we have a lot of catching on to do.” Trenton smiled making the older man blush. Ronald mentally slapped his forehead before pulling Trenton with him. Even as he was being pulled out, he looked at Nadine who was still frozen at the stairs.

Once Trenton was out of the scene, Darren looked at his wife with multi-millionaire excitement on his face.

“He came for her. He actually came for Madine. Madine wasn't lying when she said she had a history with Trenton and he was going to come and claim her one day.” He pointed out, astonishment on his face. He couldn't believe it. He was one of the people who told Madine to stop dreaming. How could a man like that come and claim her? He had told her.

“But Madine is bedridden. This means you are going to lose a potential son-in-law” Nadine pointed out, pinballing between her parents.

Hannah looked at her husband, sighed, and then fell on the couch. Tears lined her eyes.

“Madine waited ten years for this to happen. She didn't have any boyfriend because of him. She kept singing and hoping Trenton would come and claim her. I can't believe such a horrible thing happened to her when her dreams finally came true.” Tears ran down both sides of her cheeks and her hands slightly trembled.

“Hannah, we need to stop thinking about Madine and act fast. Trenton is going to come back and if he finds out Madine is in a coma, he might go and never return. We might lose a potential son-in-law.” He looked at his wife intently.

“But dad what can we do? It is not like we can get someone to pretend to be Madine. I am sorry but you are going to lose Trenton Houston.” She sighed and went to sit next to her mom.

“Yes, brilliant idea, Nadine. You are Madine's twin, you can pretend to be her. It seems Trenton didn't know Madine as much, you can pretend to be her. And there are no pictures of Madine in sight hence he doesn't know her.” Darren walked closer to his daughter and then held her up.

“No, no, Dad. I can't take Madine’s childhood lover.” Nadine took her head to the side and then her father brought her back.

“We can't loose Trenton Houston, the youngest billionaire in the world. We can't lose him!” Darren urged, holding his daughter’s hand.

“Darren, are you nut? How can you betray Madine this way? Trenton had been waiting for her for years, I am sure he would be able to wait again. Let us tell him the truth.” Hannah grabbed Nadine’s hands from her father’s

“Because he is impotent or stupid? What man in his right sense would wait for someone in a coma who might never wake up? I am not saying Madine wouldn't wake up but we need money for that to happen. Our money is not enough to take care of Nadine’s expensive needs and Madine’s hospital bills. Do you want to lose both of your children, Hannah?” He glared at his wife which made her have a rethink.
