“I just did it to annoy you,” Liana added. “Your ex husband is not really my type. I just pretend that I do to get back at you”

Stunned, Margaux stared at her cousin in disbelief. She stood straight while her eyes went wide as her brain was processing what she had just said.

‘What did she just hear?’ she thought.

She thought Wilma’s scheme was already the last, but she didn’t expect that another one would come out and it was as big as what the old woman did.

Staring at Liana darkly, she queried, “Get back at me? Did I hurt you or something?”

Liana immediately shook her head. She raised her eyebrows and folded her arms across her chest, “You pissed me off,” she rolled her eyes, “You didn’t tell me the reason why I should get away from your ex husband, but you refused to tell me,” she answered casually.

“Just because of that?” she asked in disbelief. Shaking her head, she smiled bitterly and glared at her cousin, “You are so petty”
