Chapter 130: Through it all.

Catherine's POV.

As I stormed out of the courtroom, my blood boiled with fury. "This is rubbish!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my frustration anymore. "How could the court be swayed by Lauren's fake evidence and the gibberish his lawyer was spouting? They think I'm incapable of raising my own kids, the same kids I've been caring for all alone during the first few years of their lives!"

Lucas, the only voice of reason in my life, held me gently, urging me to calm down. But calm was the last thing on my mind. "They've hit the wrong spot this time," I seethed, my anger simmering beneath the surface. "How dare they question my credibility as a mother? I'll put that trash right in his place once we get home."
