Christian walked into his office the next day, even more pissed than the day before. He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened between Laura and him the night before at home.

Just because he voiced out his concerns, he didn't like the way Rian, her lover used to act like he didn't have any ounce of self-respect. Seeing Rian everywhere was pissing Christian off and that was why he wanted to talk to Laura about it.

But apparently, he had said it in a way that hurt her. Even he realized what he said only after he said it but what he didn't expect was that she would raise her hand to slap him because of something like that. He would have apologized to her or something, she could have gotten mad and walked out.
