Flash Back, Last Night.

I placed my elbow on the car window and gently rested my forehead in my palm, with my eyes still perfectly on the road, my phone began to ring and I picked it up and placed it on speak out,

“What?, just few minutes away and you already miss me?!” I teased trying to sound lively, he chuckled lightly and switched to video call, I accepted the call and gently sat up well in my seat placing the phone on a phone stand in front of me so he could see me well,

“I have an idea,” he said and I nodded slowly urging him to go on,

“I think we should speak to my grandfather,” he said, I slammed my legs on the brake and came to a screeching halt by the side of the road, I turned off the ignition, took out my phone and held it up close to my face,

“What are you talking about?!”

“I’m very sure, Grandfather would trust my judgement, just go to him and I’ll do the rest myself,” he said, I slowly leaned into the chair and raised my hands to my hair brushing it backwards.
