What an unforgettable first day of work! The first meeting I led didn't go as planned. Files piled up on my desk and my boss', none of which I could hand over to the division that needed them.

I didn't know whether to be angry or worried about Otis and Jasper's attitude towards me. On the one hand, they were my friends. But on the other hand, Otis was my boss. I couldn't do whatever I wanted to him.

Realizing I hadn't eaten anything since the afternoon, I called Jasmine. She agreed to have dinner with me. We chose a restaurant in the middle so that we could arrive at the same time. I braced myself for the traffic jam.
