Chapter Twenty-Four

Mark’s POV

Although I was the one who encouraged Jasmine to leave the pack away from Tyler, I couldn't help but also miss her. I tried to get her attention in many ways but she always made it clear to me that she only sees me as a friend and Beta.

I thought shielding her from the wrath of Tyler and Emily would make her see me in another way but nothing changed and she left also.

I wasn't sure where she was but it was clear to me that she was alive. After the guards brought her clothes that they claimed to have found by a cliff claiming that she must not be alive, I went to that same cliff and found out that the clothes that were ripped and shown to Tyler weren't Jasmine’s own.

Emily must have planned it out with the guards and he didn't even notice a thing.

I searched around the neighbouring packs but it was to no avail again. No one seemed to know where she was. She didn't reject Tyler so I knew that he was going to feel it if she died and he hasn't felt it yet so she must be alive s
